Former United States President Barack Obama has listed two Nigerian music artistes, Rema and Tems, on his 2024 summer playlist.
Obama listed Rema’s Yayo, and Tems’ Love me Jeje as two of his favourites from his summer playlist which featured 44 songs from various genres.
“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!” Obama commented on his list which he posted on X on Monday.
The song, “Jump” featuring South African Tyla, as well as Gunna and Skillibeng, also featured on Obama’s playlist.
