Paris 2024: Waldrum names Oshoala, Ajibade, others in Super Falcons Olympics Team

Super Falcons’ head coach Randy Waldrum has picked captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and 15 other players in his final list of the team for this year’s Women’s Olympic Football event in France.

Nigeria, nine-time African champions are making their first appearance at the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament for the first time in 16 years, and will play Brazil, Spain and Japan at the Paris Olympics women’s football event.

The Super Falcons qualified for the Paris Olympics in April after they won 1-0 against South Africa’s Banyana Banyana in Abuja.
