With the theme, Reimagining the Future of Culture in African Hospitality, Tourism & Travel, the two-day summit (May 15-16) holding at Eko Hotels & Suites, is designed to position tourism as a major driver of economic growth and job creation on the continent.

Delegates at the summit are expected to deliberate on issues ranging from infrastructure deficits and intra-African travel barriers to youth participation, creative industries and diaspora engagement.

One of the major highlights of the event is the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Eko Hotels & Suites, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most recognisable indigenous hospitality brands.

Keynote speakers at the Summit include renowned Kenyan lawyer and academic, Patrick Lumumba; Caribbean diplomat and Hon. Consul General of Antigua & Barbuda to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Amb. Wallace Williams; and Director of Sales & Marketing, Eko Hotels & Suites, Dr Iyadunni Gbadebo, among others.

Participants at the summit include tourism ministers, investors, thought leaders, innovators, and cultural champions from across the continent and global diaspora.

The event will also feature panel sessions, investment discussions, among other sections expected to focus on practical strategies to unlock the continent’s tourism potential.
