Nigeria’s Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle, has unveiled a 24-man squad for next week’s 2026 FIFA World Cup African Play-off Tournament in Rabat, Morocco.

Leading the list are captain William Troost-Ekong, prolific striker Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, and defenders Bright Osayi-Samuel and Calvin Bassey.

Chelle also handed call-ups to experienced midfielder Alex Iwobi (89 caps), promising youngster Benjamin Fredericks, midfield anchors Frank Onyeka and Wilfred Ndidi, as well as Samuel Chukwueze

Nigeria will face Gabon in the first semi-final at the 22,000-capacity Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan in Rabat. The other semi-final will see Cameroon clash with the Democratic Republic of Congo at the 18,000-capacity El-Barid Stadium, also in Rabat.

Among the notable inclusions are recalled goalkeeper Maduka Okoye and Spain-based forward Chidera Ejuke, alongside midfielder Raphael Onyedika and forwards Tolu Arokodare, Jerome Akor Adams, and Olusegun Olakunle.

However, defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi will miss the semi-final against Gabon due to suspension, having accumulated two yellow cards during the qualifiers.

The squad is expected to assemble in Rabat on Monday, November 10, flying in from their various clubs across Europe and beyond.
